Terms of Service

Draft outline. A gaming attorney must draft the final version. The sections below record the terms NexArena intends to operate under.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older, or the minimum age in your jurisdiction if higher.
Entry-fee play is unavailable in restricted locations. Free play remains available.
One account per person. Multiple accounts are grounds for closure and forfeiture.
Using a VPN or proxy to evade location checks is a material breach.

2. Contests of skill

NexArena runs skill-based competitions. Outcomes are determined by player performance. This is not a sportsbook and NexArena does not accept wagers on events between third parties.

3. Entry fees, escrow and prizes

Entry fees are held in escrow from entry until settlement.
The platform fee is disclosed before you enter and deducted from the pot.
Prizes are credited to your NexArena balance on settlement.

4. Results and disputes

Results are self-reported and confirmed by both sides. Conflicts are ruled on by staff based on submitted evidence, in accordance with the House Rules. Staff rulings are final.

5. Withdrawals, identity and tax

Withdrawals are reviewed before payout.
Identity verification is required above published thresholds.
Winnings above the annual reporting threshold require a W-9 and are reported to tax authorities.

6. Prohibited conduct

Cheating, fabricated evidence, arranged results, account sharing, and using matches to transfer money are prohibited and result in a permanent ban.

7. Disputes with NexArena

To be drafted by counsel: good-faith negotiation period, binding arbitration, class-action waiver, governing law, and venue.

8. Changes

Material changes require you to accept the new Terms before entering another competition.
